GRAND NATIONAL HASH
8th April 2017
Bookend and Buscock
The Grand National Hash started at The Gloucester in Weymouth and then travelled to Portland by bus for the main event based on The Punchbowl.
Forty ‘jumps’ were overcome - some less successfully than others!
Pictures are by Honest John and Buscock.
Honest John won the award for the best outfit.
It was a very enjoyable day with good food in the pub.
ABO won the Hash sweepstake and Buscock won £60 in the pub sweepstake.
ABO has just popped in the shop for a quick ‘Wax and Relax’.
Rosie’s horse struggles at the gate.
Oh No! Rosie is a faller!
ERCO and Swatchstika rush to administer the ‘Kiss of Life’ - to Rosie.
Sadly for Rosie ERCO is the first on the scene.
“Pucker up Rosie” says an over-eager ERCO.
“No!” pleads Rosie “This is not the time or place for a quicky!”
Rosie is looking rather ‘tyred’
Hash beers and nibbles had been hidden here but they were stolen before the Hash arrived.
Rosie falls again. Where is ERCO with his ‘Kiss of Life’ when he’s needed?
Rosie falls yet again - this time at the water jump.
