ON! ON! To Stonehenge.

Please click here to read about this ancient monument - that's Stonehenge, not BOF!

We then drove to Blackpool for two night's stay.

The Tower on a good day - which it wasn't when we were there! Click here for more information about it..

The magnificent ballroom as it was when Honest John and Tsunami first visited in 1928.

Calculator Kid handed out Down! Downs! at our guesthouse - including to the owners - and then it was ON! ON! for an Indian meal. After a rush to get our meals eaten we went to Funny Girls - which was considered by many of us to be the highlight of the whole trip - absolutely brilliant! Yes - all the performers are men. Click here for more details.

The next day it was ON! ON! to Coniston having stopped off at the Water Mill Inn in Ings - click here for details.

This was a brilliant pub and Rosie organised a quiz to pass the time whilst we were drinking the pub dry and waiting for the torrential rain to dry up - well this was Cumbria so we expected deluges.

In the evening we celebrated with a slap up fish and chip supper. Wellie W bought his at 'Takeaway' price and insisted on sitting in to eat it. This caused a furious exchange of views between him and the shop staff - which he won!

Some skulduggery resulted in two strange Hashers taking over Rosie and Calculator Kid's room. Despite their strange appearance they were better company than Rosie and Calculator Kid!

The following morning dawned to a rain free beautiful day. A fond farewell was given by Empty to his inflated sheep sleeping companion and, after some Down! Downs! we headed for Perth and Nash Hash.

Thursday's Red Dress Run went through Perth and visited many pubs on a typically cold wet Scottish evening.

Friday was a day for dressing up in Scottish gear and wondering if the men were wearing anything under all those kilts.

Note by BOF - My camera failed at this point so any pictures of the evening party will be very welcome to add here.

Saturday was the first day for the Hashes. I have no pictures as I was unable to run so all pictures are welcome to fill this gap. In the evening the party theme was 'A Day At The Races'.

Sunday was a day for nursing hangovers. We didn't attempt to go on a Hash but Gravelrash and Hooker set a 'Weetabix Hash' around the racecourse which ended with a generous supply of home-made Cheeky Vimtos - click here for the recipe.

A game of table tennis and the Darzett Varmer's game were greatly improved by frequent visits to the self-service bar.

The North Wilts H3 pigs decided to join us as their own Hash was a bit of a boar.

The Pantomime Horse Stakes were run in the afternoon and the evening party followed with the Down! Down! Competition, the Naked Midnight Run and Hash Cabarets. Pictures of the Midnight Naked Run cannot be shown here but who wants to see about thirty naked runners with all their bits wobbling?!

On the way home from Perth, BOF and Organgrinder visited Edinburgh, Alnwick Castle, Oakham and the Didcot Railway Centre - click here for details. At the latter BOF lived out his extreme fantasies in the company of a large collection of steam locomotives - the sad nerd!
