The Cycle ride was another brilliant ABO success. It started at The Boot with a few drinks to get us going, went to The Rock for a few more. Then to the Weatherbury because it was impossible to miss out. Then to The Old Ship at Upwey for lunch - and a few more drinks. Then - into The Royal Standard where we had a few more drinks - it would have been rude not to. And then - the Famous Old Spa - where we decided to have a few more drinks. I can't recall what happened after that. But it probably involved drinking.

Despite this enthusiastic display of cycling prowess between pubs, many of us went to Rosie's Charity Quiz in the evening and performed well; the two Hardy's H3 team scoring 92 and 89 to come second and third overall.
