This was another excellent Mystery Hash organised by Rosie, Nobby and Corn On The Knob with help from Organgrinder. We travelled to Manston near Child Okeford in North Dorset where we enjoyed a challenging hash (there was even a beer stop and a puddle to kick in despite the drought), brilliant weather, a great beer festival, lively jazz band for dancing to and fun and games on the coach. On the way out we had a raffle and on the way home a sing song from a song book produced by BOF.

"Who are they looking at?"

"What are they doing? - As if we didn't know!"

Attending to the RA's words of wisdom

Limbering up for the Hash

BOF was Down! Downed! for his 700th Hash and Kipper for his blunders when filming Nurdling for the BBC.

Fuelling up for the Hash - Sarah and Elaine promised to RUN!

There was a Cider Stop on the way around. The cups full of the golden brew were set up - and Hooker's dog knocked half of them over. Then Half-Mad leaned over to pick up a cup and his sweater fell off his shoulder knocking the rest over. Down! Down! for him of course.

At the break point where the Mini went their own way we had a burst of Father Abraham to startle the sleepy village of Manston. At the pub Calculator Kid tries to nibble Willy's banana - or was it the other way around? The ploughman's meal was good and the beer festival tent had a large selection of ales. Below we see Bananaman with one glass of each brew of ale ready to down them all in fifteen minutes.

At the centre we see that when one "Bookend drinks - all Bookends drink!" Below - we showed the other beer festival attendees how well we could act out "Climbing Up Sunshine Mountain".

ERCO and Kay can't believe that Hooker is going to drink all that's in the potty - they were right with the RA getting soaked behind her. Corn On The Knob shows great skill drinking from a very odd shaped mug.

Rosie's shirt is retrieved from the top of the tent (don't even ask!) and we leave the pub to have a good sing-along on the coach.

A stop at the Poacher's Inn at Piddletrenthide resulted in more Down! Downs! including one for Bananaman who has returned to Hardy's Hash after more than a decade absent.

Calculator Kid wonders where his underpants went. He had them on in the coach.

Ah! There they are up the tree.

They remained there until the next day when he called in and retrieved them.
