This area covers part of the Southwell Business Centre but, for convenience, this is described on the next page north.

This area is rather poor farmland with a generally rundown appearance. A footpath run from the top of Sweethill south-south-west to the middle bottom edge of the red square. This is a good source of blackberries in the Autumn.

This provided me with a good source of berries when I went collecting in my lunch breaks from AUWE (now Southwell Business Centre) in the 1970s.

At the top of Sweethill is a paddock with some entertaining and friendly pigs - at least they were there in December 2002 but have since gone.

Nearby the pigs' pen is a large boulder which is actually part of a fossil tree. This is the largest I have found just laying around on Portland.
