Weymouth weather records are currently compiled by Bob Poots.

He not only records the weather every day without fail but has undertaken the incredible task of transcribing the handwritten records since 1927 into digital format.

Over 30,000 daily records have been thus transcribed and it is this digital record that has been analysed to produce the graphs and conclusions in this website.

Weather has been systematically recorded in Weymouth since early in the 20th century with a few records stretching back to Victorian time.
